Two forms on this site ask for your details. Here is exactly what happens to them.

What is collected

The order form asks for your name, email, telephone if you care to give it, your postal address, how many copies you would like, and anything else you want to tell Carmel. It needs the address because the CD arrives in the post, and the email because that is how Carmel sends you the total.

The comment form asks for your name, email, telephone if you want to give it, and your message.

Where it goes

Straight to Carmel, as an email. There is no database, no account, and no customer list — what you send exists in her inbox and nowhere else on this site. If you use the comment form, a copy also goes to you at the address you gave.

What the server keeps

One line per submission: the time, the network address it came from, which form it was, and whether it went through. That is for spotting a flood of junk. It records no names, no addresses and no message text.

Who else is involved

One company. The “I am human” check on both forms is Turnstile, run by Cloudflare, and it looks at your browser to decide you are a person rather than a machine. It is handled under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. There is nothing else: no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and this site sets no cookies at all.

Payment

No card details are ever collected here, because no money moves through this site. Ordering sends Carmel a request; she replies with the total and how to pay.

Children

The songs are for children and the forms are for grown-ups. If you are a kid who wants to write to Carmel, ask a parent to send it for you — and if a message arrives that is plainly from a child, it is deleted rather than kept, and any reply goes to a parent.

Changing your mind

Email webmaster@piecesofcarmel.com and ask, and your correspondence will be deleted. You can also write to Carmel directly at carmel@piecesofcarmel.com.
